iGroup, a new program for junior and senior high youth, is providing an opportunity for students to join together for a fun time of learning and activities. The group meets Monday evenings at 7:00PM at the church. As well as local activities, our youth attend such events as Acquire the Fire, the Church of God Winter Youth Convention, Spring Youth Rally with Action House, Northwest Youth Leadership Institute, and junior and senior high summer camps. |
| An important ongoing church-sponsored event for the community youth is 5th Quarter, a party in the basement of the church after each home football game. Our church is directly across from the high school football field, making it a prime location for a safe, alcohol-free, post-game hang-out. An average of 120 kids attended each week during last fall’s football season to play foosball, table tennis, and board games and consume prodigious amounts of snack food. |
